Obituary of Mary L Rager | Kenneth A Stuart Funeral Home

Mary L. Rager, 91, Formerly of New Florence, went home to join her loved ones with the Lord on June 21, 2022, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born August 3, 1930, in New Florence, she was the daughter of James D. and Naomi (Douglass) Galbraith. Also preceded in death by husband Joseph W. Rager; son Joseph James “Jim” Rager; sister Joann Sutter and brother James Dick Galbraith.

She is survived by her son J. Scott Rager and wife Debra (McDade), Middletown; grandson Christopher L. Rager and Carolynn Hine, Washington, D.C.; and great-grandson Wyatt Lincoln; sister Peggy Copper, New Florence and brother Douglas Galbraith and wife Leanna, Alliance, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, former daughter-in-law Vicki Rhoades and her children John and Sarah-Anne, all of Camp Hill.

Mary was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Florence, and the O.E.S., Ligonier. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

There will be no public service or visitation. Private interment Armagh Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence.
