Ronald R. McKay, Sr., passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 24, 2016. He was 78. He was the loving husband of Betty (Ehrenfeld) with whom he had shared 55 years of marriage. Ron became a Teamster in 1967 while working for Mason and Dixon Trucking Co. In his younger days, Ron was a Disc. Jockey at the Starlight Ballroom in Kensington where he met the love of his life, Betty. He played softball for Lighthouse A.A. Ron retired in 1999 to spend time with his wife and grandchildren. He is survived in addition to his wife by his three children, Ron Jr., (Patti), Wendy (Clint) and Mark (Debbie); his six grandchildren Jessica, CJ, Erika, Leigh and Carly; his three great grandchildren Aidan, Makenzie and Aubree and his surviving siblings James, Shirley, Darlene, Daniel and Dennis . He was pre-deceased by his grandson, Ron,III. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing after 10 am, Sat. Jan. 30, 2016 in James R. Baskwill Funeral Home, 20 W. Montgomery Ave, (half block west of York Rd) Hatboro, where his funeral service will be held at 11 am. Interment will be private.
